For those of you who knew me, I used to post a few images of my cats here and you probably got acquainted knowing them that way. So you might remember Pixie, this very pretty lady we've had with us since July of 2005. I sadly have to say she ended up dying a few hours ago, presumably from her kidneys failing. Most of her life, she was fairly healthy and didn't have much issues. Her age didn't really start to show until the last few years though, she had a couple health scares (including a vet visit two months ago where she might've had a UTI, hyperthyroidism, and the beginning of kidney disease) but she was quick to bounce back with special food and medications. Sometimes her behavior got a little peculiar with not being sure what she wants to do and really wanting food, even after she had plenty. Sometime changed at the beginning of this week...she probably had some bathrooming issues because her lower half felt constantly wet (and it didn't smell good), her meowing sounded loud and
So I was lowkey hesitant/skeptical about that new Total Drama season. With how long it had been and being a little burned from the later seasons having serious problems...then the first English teasers dropped with it revealing Chris having a different voice for speculative reasons I'd rather not delve into at the moment. Safe to say this all left me feeling extremely cautious and skeptical. And without delving into as little spoilers as possible...I'mma share some of my thoughts/ramblings. The characters' archetypes don't feel as ridiculous compared to Pahkitew and I managed to enjoy or find something amusing from most of them. I can only name a few characters in this season who actively frustrated me. However, I do have a bit of a nitpick...lowkey feel like a lot of the cast was somewhat derivative of past characters, or at least felt like certain aspects were thrown into a blender to make a new one. I don't want to call this a negative though, it didn't hurt my viewing experience
I think it's clear that ChatGPT has taken over my life in the best way possible, it's so hilariously cursed.
